Age not an issue for a number of grandmothers from Hong Kong, who earned a black belt in taekwondo, after they demonstrated the power of kicks and punches them on Wednesday (28/09/2011).

Seven grandmother is “mighty” , though aged 63 to 74 years, received the highest ranking Korean martial arts that after passing the exam taekwondo classes for seniors in southern China, reported the South China Morning Post.

“Luckily, we had one classmate that records all the patterns in detail,” said Lam Sai-mui (74).

“I am very lazy and scared if they can not make new moves,” said Lam, who claimed to suffer from sore feet for a long time, but the pain disappeared after his taekwondo training last year.
Taekwondo has a belt with a different color as the pointer ability levels, ranging from white belt to black belt for beginners and the highest level.
Practical Taekwondo Association Head Coach Chan Pik-chau Hong Kong said that he was inspired to form a special seniors program after seeing a similar class in South Korea
